Story Outline:
Sun Wukong, Zhu Bajie, and Sha Wujing protect Tang Sanzang on his journey to the West to obtain the Buddhist scriptures. They must overcome eighty-one tribulations and reach Leiyin Temple to attain enlightenment. It is said that whoever eats Tang Sanzang's flesh will gain immortality. The Great Demon King, Niu Mowang, leads an army of monsters to drive away Sun Wukong, leaving Tang Sanzang and the others unprotected and in danger...
Each of the four masters has their own strengths. Will they be able to unite once again and defeat the demons to obtain the scriptures?
The family musical, Journey to the West, will take children on a magical journey filled with joy and surprises.
